Gareth has been involved in media and communications for some 21 years. He has worked in-house and freelance as a journalist, sub editor and editor and has held senior Press & PR positions for a number of international companies.
Gareth has had news, features and coverage in every national newspaper and most regional papers in the UK, and in many quality newspapers and other media all around the World.
Gareth has provided news to radio and TV stations, online publications and news forums and has serviced a number of UK, pan European and international vertical trade publications across a range of industry sectors.
Gareth is an NCTJ-trained Journalist, an MSC-CPA vocationally-trained PR & Marketing Consultant, a PGCE (FE)-trained Teacher, an UnLtd Millennium Award Winner and a Fellow of the Foundation of Social Entrepreneurs. He has also completed in-service, vocational training in Press Photography.
Through Campaign Promotions, he has clocked up considerable experience of international marketing, PR, communications and events. He now specialises in promoting SMCC's (Small & Medium-sized Charities and Campaigns), SSME's (Sustainability-focussed SME's) and SE's (Social Enterprises).
Commercial highlights include Pan European PR for MOL, the largest shipping company in the World; Pan European PR for The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey; Global PR for Callserve & their partners, including Sony Vaio; Freeserve; beeb.net; Packard Bell; Real and Microsoft, for whom Gareth helped to launch Windows XP.
Not For Profit highlights include becoming Head of PR for Brunel University in 2002;
co-founding The European Creative Forum in 2003-2004; working with the European Social Forum (Culture Working Group) in 2004; founding Tsunami Relief in 2004-2005 and then creating Ecoshelter in 2007.
Gareth has raised funds for Oxfam; The DEC (Disasters & Emergency Committee); Rotary International; The YWCA; The Sri Lankan Association; MIND (GIFT Fundraising) and art2art.
He has conducted joint communications initiatives with The United Nations Association; The MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY Coalition; The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University; Sport4Sport; The Sports Council of Wales; WSA (The Welsh Sports Association);

After studying photography at the University of Westminster Faculty of Communications, Mike started his photographic career shooting fashion portfolios for London model agencies Elite, Select, and Models 1 during the late eighties.
In 1993 he moved to Australia where he worked as a freelance photographer shooting fashion spreads for national magazines and doing corporate commercial work. His pictures appeared in the national and regional press as well as a host of advertising and promotional publications.
In 1998 he returned to the UK to continued success in the corporate and advertising sphere, his pictures once again making the national and regional press on a regular basis. He currently has an impressive nationwide client base and has undertaken commissions across Europe as well as in the UK.
